Welcome to Uniontown Public Library’s information services for children and caregivers. We are proud of our great books, story tapes and videos.
Our library has an area for children to sit and relax, sample the books, play games or make a craft. We have regular storytimes and fun activities for children of all ages during the year – in and out of school holidays. Our biggest event is the Summer Reading Program, which runs during the summer holidays. Family Craft Night and Game Night are each held once a month and are open to everyone. Other highlights of the Children’s Library include:
- Picture books on low, easy-to-reach shelves
- Picture book audiocassette sets
- Current and back issues of popular children’s magazines
- Lists of award-winning books
- A home schooling section including textbooks and workbooks
We like to welcome babies into the library, as they are never too young to enjoy a story! Spring and fall storytimes are fun for children and parents, and our Toddler Play Area is always popular.
So whatever your age, we have something for you at the library!
